Lean With Plants Payment Options, Explained
How our Klarna and Affirm payment plans work, and how the investment conversation happens on your call.
Yes, Lean With Plants offers payment plan options. We partner with Klarna and Affirm, which let you spread the cost over time instead of paying in full up front. If it is the right fit, we can also get creative. Lean With Plants is a 12-week one-on-one plant-based weight loss coaching program for women founded by Chelsea Mae Cullen, and the specific numbers, including what a plan would look like for you, are covered on the free strategy call rather than published on the site.
Below is what a payment plan actually does, what it does not do, and how to think about the money part without lying to yourself in either direction.
Why there is no number on this page
I want to deal with this immediately rather than making you scroll.
Nobody who runs a high-touch, one-on-one, high-support coaching program puts the price on the website, and I will be honest about why. If women saw a number first, most of them would not show up to the conversation, and if you do not show up, you never find out whether this solves your problem. The call that changed my own life was one where I made the biggest investment I had ever made in my business. I would never have shown up if I had known the price first. I had to have the conversation, see the solution, and see my own gaps.
What I can tell you up front:
- It is not cheap. I will not pretend it is. It is not comparable to an e-book, a gym membership, Optavia or Weight Watchers.
- It is also not the crazy number most women imagine. For most women it is very doable. The women who work with us are normal working women and retirees with some savings set aside, not millionaires.
- There are payment plan options. We partner with Klarna and Affirm, and we can get creative. If it is the right fit, we want to make it work, and we normally can.
The real number, the one specific to you, your situation, what you need and how we can get creative, is what we talk about on your strategy call, a 45-minute call that is all about you. Everything that is included is laid out in plain terms so you can judge it for yourself. We go through this in more depth in how much Lean With Plants costs and why it costs what it costs.
What a payment plan actually does
A payment plan changes the shape of the cost, not the size of it.
That sounds obvious written down. It is worth saying anyway, because "can I pay monthly" is often really asking "can I make this feel affordable," and those are two different questions.
What Klarna and Affirm do for you:
- Removes the single large hit. You are not clearing out a savings account in one transaction.
- Matches the spend to the timeline. You are paying across roughly the period you are actually being coached, rather than fronting all of it before your first call.
- Keeps your cash flow intact. For a lot of women this is the difference between "not right now" and "actually, yes."
- Handles the details separately from us. The provider you choose sets the terms, runs the approval, and tells you exactly what you would owe and when before you agree to anything.
You see your specific terms from Klarna or Affirm, not from us, before you commit. We do not guess at them for you and we do not quote them in an article.
What a payment plan does not change
Here is the part most programs skip.
It does not make the decision for you. If you would not join at the full amount paid up front, splitting it does not turn a no into a yes. It turns a no into a slower no, and that is a worse outcome for you than a clean one.
It does not reduce the total. Spreading payments is a scheduling tool. The investment is the investment.
It does not change what is required of you. You still snap your plates, do your daily habits and answer your coach's messages. A payment plan is not a lighter version of the program.
It does not make it free. Nothing does, including the years of not deciding.
I would rather you hear this from us than find it out at payment three.
The cost nobody adds up
When women tell me a program is expensive, the comparison in their head is almost always against zero. Against doing nothing.
That is not the real comparison, because doing nothing has not been free either.
Think about what the last several years have actually cost:
- Programs and apps you subscribed to and stopped using
- Supplements, shakes, meal kits, powders
- The gym membership through the months you did not go
- Food you bought for a plan you abandoned in week two
- Clothes in three different sizes because you keep needing the next one up
- Starting over. Again. And the energy that costs, which is not a line item but is the most expensive part
Beth had tried more than 40 diets before she came to us. Forty. Nobody tallies that up, but it was not nothing, and it did not work.
I am not going to put a figure on any of this, because I do not know yours. You do. Add it honestly and the comparison looks different.
And the cost of doing nothing keeps growing. It is diabetes medication. It is the extra health costs that come with carrying extra weight as you age, which the CDC puts at close to two thousand dollars a year per adult. It is paying for dieting every single year instead of learning it once. The women who work with us invest up front to get the job finished.
"Why not just charge month to month?"
This comes up alongside the payment plan question, and it is fair.
The honest answer is about behavior, not billing.
Most women quit somewhere between week three and week six. That is not a discipline problem, it is a pattern. Week three is the flattest part of the whole process: the novelty is gone, the results have not compounded, and the first genuinely hard week tends to land right there.
A month-to-month structure puts an exit door in exactly that window. Cancel then and you have done the hardest part of the work and collected none of the payoff. It is a structure that quietly rewards quitting at the worst possible moment.
Committing to the full 12 weeks carries you through that stretch to the point where the habits are actually running and the scale has caught up. That is what the STACK Method is built for, and it is why the program is bounded rather than open-ended. More on that in what the STACK Method is.
What you are actually paying for
So you can assess value rather than just price, here is what is included in the coaching program:
| What you get | What it is for |
|---|---|
| A dedicated coach who checks in and messages you daily | A real person, not a bot or a group chat, who looks at your plate, sees your blind spots and adjusts your plan as you go |
| The LWP app | Your meals, messaging, community, recipes and workouts in one place. See inside the app |
| A weekly group coaching call and a Q&A every two weeks | Long-term leanness literacy, with every call recorded so you can catch up later |
| The nutrition system (calorie density) | Eating more food by volume, feeling full, losing weight without counting calories |
| Fitness and movement guidance | Matched to your body, including if you are coming back from injury or surgery |
| The STACK Method habit system | So the results hold after week 12, which is the entire point |
| An honest plan for the hard weeks | Bad weeks, binges and a stalled scale are planned for, not treated as failure. See what happens if it does not work |
That is one coach, working with you, for a defined period, with the whole system behind them.
When a payment plan is the right call, and when it is not
Some honesty on both sides of this.
A payment plan makes sense when:
- You have the income but not the lump sum sitting in cash
- The timing is right and the only obstacle is how the money is arranged
- You have looked at what you already spend on this problem and it is more than you thought
A payment plan is the wrong tool when:
- You are using it to talk yourself past a genuine no
- Money is actually tight right now in a way that a schedule does not fix
- You are not in a season where you can give the twelve weeks real attention
If you are in that second group, say so on the call. We can often get creative, and if it is the right fit, we want to make it work. If we do not think it will work for you, we will tell you, because we would rather do that than sign someone who should not be signing.
Frequently asked questions
Does Lean With Plants offer payment plans? Yes. We partner with Klarna and Affirm for payment plans. Whether you use Klarna or Affirm, your specific terms come from them and are shown to you before you agree to anything. If it is the right fit, we can get creative.
How much does Lean With Plants cost? It is not cheap, and it is not the crazy number most women imagine either. For most women it is very doable. The real number, specific to you, your situation and what you need, is talked about on the free strategy call rather than published on the site. See how much Lean With Plants costs for the full explanation.
What happens at the end of the call? By the end, you are clear on who we are, we are clear on who you are, and we both know whether working together will actually help. If it is a fit and you both say yes, you get set up straight away. If it is not, we part ways and you leave with more clarity. If we do not think it will work for you, we will tell you.
What are Klarna and Affirm? Klarna and Affirm are third-party payment providers that let you spread the cost of a purchase over time. They handle the approval and set out your terms directly, separately from us.
Is the payment plan the same price as paying up front? The terms of any plan are set by Klarna or Affirm and shown to you before you commit, so you can compare and choose. Nothing is hidden from you at that stage.
What if it does not work for me? Not everybody gets a dream result, because this is behavior change, not a magic pill. Average results mean slightly slower progress, not nothing. When someone does not get results, it is almost always one of two things: ghosting, or not letting herself be coached. If life hits hard, tell us and we can pause the program or extend it a couple of weeks. More in does Lean With Plants work.
